There are many reasons you can have trouble entering online, unfortunately there is no answer for all of them. Most of the problems we see comes back to the user or the computer being used, including web browser, web browser version and operating system. Internet connection or service dropping out can be another cause.
NOTE: If you are entering on a mobile device, We recommend turning your device to landscape position (horizontal) so the form displays across the screen more accurately.
Below are some reoccurring problems users are having, that i can hopefully answer to make your entry run as smooth as possible.
Topics
- Was not directed to payment after selecting ‘Continue To Payment’ button.
- Did not receive a confirmation email of entry.
1. Was not directed to payment after selecting ‘Continue To Payment’ button.
Once the ‘Continue To Payment’ button is selected, you leave the SART website to go to PayPal which is a secure website, this can take some moments to authenticate the connection and be accepted by PayPal. If a connection is not made you will be directed back to the SART website entry confirmation page, which means you have successfully submitted your entry but payment has not been made.
If you have experienced this, please try re-entering again, your first entry will be deleted from the database if a second successful entry was made with payment. In most cases the second entry is successfully directed to PayPal. TIP: Make sure you have all the relevant information ready to make the process run smoothly, submit your entry and payment in one process. Don’t leave your page open without entering information for a long period of time, the same applies when you are directed to PayPal.
If you are entering from a work computer which is on a shared network, your admin may have site restrictions; ‘YouTube’ ‘PayPal’ ‘eBay’ are some of the common websites companies do not allow access to.
2. Did not receive a confirmation email of entry.
The email may not be instant depending on your service provider, the confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide in the entry form, please make sure your email address is correct when entering.
Sidecar passenger will also receive a confirmation email, but only if an email address has been provided in the passenger details. If you have not received a confirmation email, please check your Junk Email or Spam Folder as you may have to give permission to allow notification emails from this website.
